Jessi and Jordan first met when Jessi was 15 and Jordan was 18. All Jordan could think about was hunting and Jessi was too shy to say a word to him. After 9 years Jordan liked a photo of Jessi that she posted on Facebook . Out of the 40 people who liked the photo Jessi saw Jordan’s name first. Jessi had a feeling that she needed to check in with him and send the message not thinking he would look at it much less respond almost instantly. Jordan later told Jessi that the night before she messaged him he had asked God to give him a sign of what was suppose to be next for him and just like that he was blessed with not only Jessi but her daughter, Raelynn, too. They talked for two weeks over the phone before Jessi attended an event at White Oak in Winnsboro, SC. They had their first date that same day. Jordan let his dog greet her hoping if anything the dog would make her stick around. He wasn’t wrong but that wasn’t the only reason she felt at home. The moment they saw each other they knew this was forever. Even before seeing each other again Jessi wanted to tell Jordan she missed him but how can you miss someone you haven’t seen in 9 years much less never had a full conversation with? It sounds like something out of a fairy tale or a fabel that doesn’t happen in real life but here they were standing in front of each other and all they wanted to do was hug each other. After some time Jessi introduced Jordan to her young daughter, Raelynn. Jordan brought flowers for Raelynn and was patient while she was shy and didn’t accept his flowers at first. Eventually Raelynn accepted his gift. Jessi watched as Jordan was patient and gentle with Raelynn and her heart felt like it was going to burst with joy. After a year of dating Jessi and Raelynn moved in with Jordan. Jessi and Jordan fought a lot of battles in their relationship with loved ones passing away, home ownership and other personal insecurities but through it all they persevered. They worked on theirselves individually and together to show the amount of love they have for each other. Relationships of any kind are hard if you aren’t ready to work for it and love alone is not always enough. Fast forward to almost seven years and not only are they soul mates they are best friends. They have a bond and a love for one another that is so strong. Jessi, Jordan and Raelynn are so excited to make this next step and are so happy to be able to share this with all of their loved ones.
